Delhi Capitals opener Shikhar Dhawan on Saturday smashed his first-ever T20 hundred after reaching the 100-run mark off 57 deliveries against CSK.
The 34-year-old star player said, 'It is very special that I have been playing IPL for 13 years and this is my first-century innings. I am very happy I have been batting well since the start of the season but I could not convert the score of 20 to 50, "he said." I was mentally positive, trying to score runs. I am more fit now. I am running fast and feeling energized.’
Dhawan, who had made his T20 debut on April 3, 2007, took 268 matches to score his first-ever hundred.
His previous highest score was 97*(63) which he scored against KKR in IPL 2019.
