Barak Valley In Assam Witnesses All Round Development As CM Sonowal Inaugurates Biodiversity Park and 5 Police Stations

Sahitya Manishi Bio Diversity Park has been inaugurated at Dholai, Cahar district by the State Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal on 11th January, 2021.


He announced that the aforesaid will be named after late former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpaye. He highly appreciated the Forest Department for successfully increasing the forest cover area by 222 sq km and efficiently protecting the flora and fauna of the area.

He thanked the department for planting 8.5 crore plants out of the 10 crore target set by the state government. The CM also talked about his vision in government policies to build a Pollution-free Assam.


Sarbananda Sonowal on January 10 during his visit to Barak Valley inaugurated five newly constructed Police Stations in three districts of Barak Valley. It includes Dholai Police Station, Udharband Police Station and Joypur Police Station in Cachar District, Hailakandi Police Station in Hailakandi and Badarpur Police Station in Karimganj.


The State Government as claimed has always been a believer of action than of words  and olthereby during the Vijay Sankalp Samabesh rally, not only the CM talked about Digitalization but  already had walked the talk by inaugurating the rest four Police stations virtually while Dholai PS has been inaugurated at the premise itself.
