Meghalaya Government Will Invest Rs 125 Crore To Boost State Entrepreneurs

The Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma while addressing at the Promotion and Incubation of Market driven Enterprises (PRIME) Entrepreneurship Awards on Friday has announced that the Meghalaya Government will sanction a sum of Rs 125 crore over the period of next two years as PRIME funds for supporting the entrepreneurs in the state.

Sangma further added that it is high time that the state takes special interest in the sector of entrepreneurship, and encourage the youth of the state.
“I am happy to witness our artisans and entrepreneurs getting the opportunities and the much-needed handholding through the Ateliers Programme and the PRIME Meghalaya initiative,” the CM added.
The CEO of MBMA, Dr. D Vijay Kumar said that a tourism store will be set up in Delhi to establish Meghalaya as a brand.
