On Friday, the controversial student leader and former President of Jawaharlal University Student Union campaigned for the controversial party AIUDF in Assam.
While campaigning for AIUDF in the Cachar district of Assam, Kanhaiya Kumar facing sedition charges for raising anti-national slogans in JNU, urged the voters to vote for a secular party that doesn't divide people into religious lines.
He said, "While the country's Constitution has treated every equally and given equal rights to all, people of Assam must not elect any party that divides people."
However, Kanhaiya Kumar, while campaigning for AIUDF, choose to remain silent on the communal statements given by AIUDF leaders in the past. He also choose to stay silent on the grave allegations on Badruddin Ajmal receiving donations from global terror-linked groups.
