"Delhi Meerut Expressway has now been completed & opened to traffic. We have full filled our promise of reducing travel time between Delhi - Meerut from 2.5 hours to 45 minutes".

This new Delhi-Meerut 14 Lane expressway will reduce the travel time between the Delhi-Meerut to 45 min from earlier 2.5 hours.

This project was approved in 2006 under National Highway Development Programme, but for years, it reminded on papers.

However, after 2014 when the Modi government came to power, this project picked momentum, and today this has been made operational in a record time.
