Recently Jammu and Kashmir police have registered a case under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act after videos surfaced showing the body of hardline separatist leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani wrapped in a Pakistani flag and the alleged raising of "anti-national" slogans after his death. The police said a case has been registered under the strict anti-terror law Unlawful Activities Prevention Act or UAPA. On other hand Pakistan Foreign Office paid tribute to Pakistan's blue-eyed boy Geelani, calling him a "true voice and hero of the Kashmiris’ struggle for self-determination". Pakistan Foreign Office spokesperson Asim Iftikhar Ahmad also said that the government and the people of Pakistan deeply mourned "the passing away of the iconic leader of the Kashmiri resistance". But the question is why the emotion on Geelani?
