GUWAHATI: ICSE (Class 10) Board Results, 2022, were announced on Sunday. Schools in Assam have outshined and made remarkable success.

Numerous candidates from The Assam Valley School, Tezpur, achieved progressive results and scored on an average of 89.52% marks. In total, 104 students appeared from the Assam Valley School. Isha Sovasaria secured the topmost position and popularised her school scoring 99.20% aggregate marks. She scored exceptionally perfect (100) in geography, mathematics, chemistry, biology and computer applications.

School headmaster Amit Jugran with great joy and pride expressed that, “We all are delighted with the results of our children. The hard work put in by the staff members has yielded rich dividends.” Isha has expressed her satisfaction and happiness for own performance and gave due credit to her parents, teachers and friends. She mentioned in an interview that she will study science in ISC (Class XII) with computer science being the main subject.

Another school that excelled in the results declared is the Sanskriti The Gurukul which is regarded as the leading city school. It recorded a school average of 92.15%. Among the 55 students who appeared from the school, 17 of them scored 95% and above, while the other 23 scored between 90 and 94.8% aggregate marks.

These students through their excellent academic performances not only shined the name of their schools but also created a moment of pride and happiness for their parents, teachers and themselves as well.
