Today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi met his mother Heeraben Modi at her residence in Gandhinagar in Gujarat on the occasion of her birthday.The Prime Minister sought his mother’s blessings and washed her feet.Born on June 18, 1923, Heeraben Modi entered the 100th year of her life today.On this occasion, a puja will be held in Vadnagar’s Hatkeshwar temple. Noted singer Anuradha Paudval and other artists are likely to perform at the event. PM Modi tweeted a blog post in which he penned his thoughts expressing joy and gratitude on the occasion of his mother’s 100th birthday and said that had his father been alive, he would have completed his centenary in 2022.
